AUTOGAS as propulsion energy lowers the fuel costs and saves the environment. Use in conventional Otto engines is trouble-free. Gasoline-operated vehicles can also be equipped with no difficulties later. The associated costs are currently approximately 1,890 – 2,590 € depending on the vehicle type and AUTOGAS system. For busses and trucks, a cost of between 9,900 € and 19,900 € is estimated. A private passenger vehicle user who drives primarily using AUTOGAS – already paying for the modification approximately one year. The basis fort he calculation is 40,000 kilometres driven annually and a consumption of nine litres per 100 kilometres.
With AUTOGAS - liquid gas as a fuel – a safe and primarily cost-effective alternative is available. Once the modification is complete, up to 0.50 € / litres less are paid. This is possible through the tax benefit which is fixed until 2009. There are over 7 million AUTOGAS vehicles worldwide. Our European neighbours have known this for a long time – AUTOGAS is a safe and proven fuel and it costs considerably less. In 1997, there were approximately 4,000 AUTOGAS vehicles. At the end of 2001, that number had already grown to approximately 12,000 – a continuously upward trend.

AUTOGAS can also be cost-effective and environmentally friendly when compared to diesel. You should keep this in mind when purchasing a new automobile. AUTOGAS technology is safe and has proven to be very effective for decades. A large number vehicles with Otto engines can be modified for AUTOGAS. Gasoline-powered vehicles can be easily equipped later with an AUTOGAS drive. No mechanical modifications to the engine are required.
